That is why last winter we offset the carbon footprint of all your heating consumption by investing in these 9 projects aimed at protecting and restoring our terrestrial ecosystems, to fight against deforestation and halt the loss of biodiversity.
ARZÁDEGOS 2013
Arzádedos (Ourense)
Work: Reforestation
- Achieving the tree cover that this area had before the signficiant fire there in 2005. The project is intended to environmentally and touristically revitalize the area with a useful reforestation area of 23.92 ha.

- This project is also carried out in the forest burned in the parish of Arzádegos in 2005 and the useful area of the reforestation is 27.03 ha.

- A new investment to reforest an area of high ecological value in the parish of Arzádegos in the municipality of Villardevós with a useful reforestation area of 12.95 ha.

- The aim is to revitalize the soil structure and preserve the area as a source of renewable natural resources, promoting biodiversity, forestry, and rural employment.

- This project aims to protect the habitat, soil and landscape, promoting the conservation of biodiversity in a total area of 88.92 ha, through the forest recovery of this area affected by fires in 2013.

- Plantation of Pinus radiata and different hardwood species in a neighboring common forest.
